Inca
Symbols
The
inca culture had hundreds of inca symbols, most of them were created
for war, religion and astrology; Symbols with the shape of snakes,
condors, corn, cougars, the sun, the lighting, the coca plant and many
others; The most important symbol for the inca king was the
Mascaipacha, that was the royal crown; The mascaipacha was a tassel
shape of exquisite red wool, with gold threads and two feathers from a
bird call Corequenque; It was the most priceless jewel of the kingdom.

Among all the inca symbols, the one that deserve our attention is the
Chakana, this symbol is way more complex that you can possibly imagine,
in this page you will learn about the mysteries and the extraordinary
mathematical coincidences of the chakana; Today most of the people do
not know the existence of the inca cross or chakana, as a matter of
fact the shape of the chakana inca is found in absolutely every single
one of the incas designs.
Certainly, the chakana is the most interesting of all inca symbols and
here is why: Archaeologist had found textiles, pottery and
constructions with images and shapes of the chakana, that are more that
4000 years old; The archaeologist understand that this symbol have been
around the Peruvian territory long before the incas, it is a fact that
this symbol had been found with different shapes and structures, in
practically all pre inca
cultures.
Most of the inca symbols are quite simple, but the chakana is something
from another world; The chakana is a geometrical shape that is form by
one circle, then one square inside of the circle, the square must be
aligned with the vertices, at the midpoints of the circle; Then inside
of the square, we can see another circle, but smaller and inside of
this small circle we found a second square, but it is positioned
standing in one of its vertices, looking like a lozenge.

Then, we cross two lines inside of the smaller square, like a large X
crossing the square vertices, now on the big circle, by the union of
different point of intersection, you will see the shape of the most
important of the inca symbols; The mathematical and geometrical
knowledge need it, to design this shape has to be quite advance, but
this is not all; The inca
mythology talk about the inca
good Wiracocha,
they say that he walk the land of the incas from the Titicaca lake to
Ecuador.
The walking path of Wiracocha is call the road to heaven, kind of the
TAO of the Andes, this walking path make a line that overlap with the
inclination angle of the planet of centuries ago, the question is: How
the incas knew that?; Now, if we overlap the chakana with our planet,
we will see the diagonal line of the small square at 45 degrees from
the north to south line of our planet; So if we observe the location of
all the pre
inca
cultures, we can see that
surprisingly all of them
make a perfect alignment with the chakana.

The inca legend that affirm that the inca symbols hold the secret of
life, could be explain like this: The inclination angle of the planet
is 23,5 degrees allowing the development of seasons and creating an
environment stable enough to harbor life, so if you know the angle of
inclination of the planet, you know the secret of life; The fact is
that the chakana was use as a measurement device to calculate the
inclination angle of the planet.
Without a doubt, the chakana is most important of the inca symbols, but
it hold another secret; The mathematics use keys to calculate numbers,
like the PI number, PI is an irrational number with a very good
approach to the value of the square root of ten, it is commonly use
today, so the mathematicians theory is that the chakana was the
equivalent of the PI number for us; The chakana as a geometrical
figure, hold values and constants, that explain the fundamental
mathematics so well, that it is hard to believe that it has been around
us for more than 4000 years.
The inca symbols were place in textiles, constructions, inca
art,
etc;
The symbols were everywhere and the chakana was the main one of all, no
matter where you look, you will still see this shape everywhere; It is
quite clear that the incas did not design this symbol, so the question
is, who made it?, or maybe another more interesting question, who teach
it to them?.
